The Fiberglass Spiral Chute is a high-efficiency gravity sorting device that combines the technical advantages of a traditional spiral concentrator, shaking table, and centrifugal concentrator into one simple, continuous process. Operating entirely without electricity, this Gravity Spiral Concentrator uses the natural forces of gravity, centrifugal action, and water flow to separate minerals based on their specific gravity.
Recognized with the Scientific and Technological Research Achievement Award by the Ministry of Metallurgy, our Spiral Chute Separator features excellent sorting indices and high enrichment ratios. It is perfectly suited for upgrading fine-grained minerals ranging from 0.3mm down to 0.02mm.
Manufactured from lightweight yet incredibly strong Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP), this Mineral Spiral Separator is rust-proof, wear-resistant, and highly adaptable to fluctuations in feed volume and concentration, making it the ideal choice for massive-scale heavy mineral processing.

The separation process occurs naturally as the slurry flows down the helical path of the chute.
Spiral concentrators are highly effective for processing fine-grained materials (0.3 - 0.02 mm) with sufficient specific gravity differences:

We offer spirals ranging from 400mm (for lab/fine testing) up to massive 2000mm diameters for high-capacity industrial plants. Note: The path ratio is the ratio of pitch to helix diameter; different pitches are available based on the specific mineral settling dynamics.

A: A "start" refers to the number of independent helical troughs intertwining around the central column. For example, a "4-start" spiral chute (like the SLL-1200) has four separate flow paths wrapping around the same pole. This multiplies the processing capacity of a single column footprint by four.
A: Spirals are optimized for fine-grained minerals (generally below 2mm). If you have coarse gold nuggets, you must use a Mineral Jig or a coarse sluice box upstream. However, spirals are excellent for catching the fine, flour gold that escapes coarse recovery methods.
