GX Series High-Efficiency Thickener

The GX Series High-Efficiency Thickener is a new generation of industrial solid-liquid separation equipment. Engineered to replace standard conventional thickeners, it dramatically increases both processing capacity and the density (underflow concentration) of the discharged slurry.

Available in massive tank diameters ranging from 3.6 meters to 20 meters, this Mineral Dewatering Tank utilizes an innovative deaerating feed well and an advanced raking mechanism. It is the premier choice for the rapid dewatering of mineral concentrates, the settling of mine tailings, and bulk coal slurry water treatment.

While it can achieve excellent settling rates naturally, when paired with a flocculant dosing system, it transforms into an ultra-high-capacity clarifier, providing crystal clear overflow water for plant recycling.

Core Structural Innovations

  • Deaerating Feed Well: The incoming slurry first passes through a specialized deaeration storage tank. This effectively eliminates >95% of air bubbles trapped in the slurry, preventing fine particles from floating to the surface.
  • Deep Feed Cylinder: The receiving drum is exceptionally deep (1.7 to 4.4 meters). It introduces the feed slurry directly into the active settling zone at the bottom of the tank, preventing turbulence from disturbing the clear water at the top.
  • Dual-Motor Drive System: Features a high-torque main drive motor to slowly turn the rakes, alongside an independent lifting motor. If the mud becomes too thick, the lifting motor automatically raises the rakes to prevent the machine from stalling or breaking.
  • Variable Frequency Drive: The rake speed can be precisely adjusted from 0.13 to 1.1 rpm via a VFD control panel, allowing operators to match the raking speed to the density of the settling mud.

Engineering Selection & Dosing Guide

To achieve the true "High-Efficiency" capacities listed above, the addition of a chemical flocculant (such as Polyacrylamide / PAM) is highly recommended. If you process without flocculants, select a standard model. If you plan to add flocculants, our engineers will integrate an automated chemical dosing system (Model + FY configuration).
